Continuing with sharing recipes that one can make in 15 minutes or less; this is an oldie but goodie. I shared this when I was writing three times a week on Substack and unemployed 😆. Hope y’all enjoy! Xoxo~Christilisa -

Hey, y’all! Welcome to #recipetuesday! Today is all about a breakfast treat (or a sweet treat) that is fast and easy to make. This is my go-to when I don’t have a ton of time and want something slightly indulgent. If you are on a diet, this ain’t for you (unless it’s cheat day). Let’s get into it:

  1. On one side of the bread, spread the cinnamon sugar butter to all edges.

  2. Over medium-low heat, melt the cinnamon sugar butter in a non-stick pan.

  3. Place the bread, non-butter side down. Let cook until golden brown, about 2-5 minutes.

  4. Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture on top of the butter side of bread.

  5. Flip bread. Cook until golden brown, about 2-5 minutes.

  6. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top of the bread.

  7. Flip again to allow the cinnamon sugar to crystalize.

  8. Add more cinnamon sugar.

  9. Remove from heat and let sit for 1-2 minutes, until toast texture.

    Recipe Tidbits

    • A non-stick pan works best for this recipe to make sure it does not stick to the pan and burn.

    • The cinnamon-sugar butter is Land O Lakes. However, if you can not find it in stores, you can find someone who makes compound butter or do it yourself!

    • If you need to increase the temperature to reach that golden brown color, do it! But, remember that it may cook your toast too quickly.

    • The more cinnamon sugar, the better! Sprinkle that thang up to your heart’s desire.

    • Regular white bread is okay for this recipe but be gentle when spreading the cinnamon-sugar butter. You don’t want to tear your bread.

I hope y’all enjoy this recipe and share it with your family and friends. It’s one of my fave simple recipes that everyone enjoys.

    Until next time,

    xoxo~Christilisa
