Hey y’all!
We’ve finally made it to the month of December! This year has been tumultuous to say the least but better than 2020. As we head into the final month of the year of 2021, it’s important to reflect upon our growth and what we can do to prepare not only for the holidays but the new year as well. With that being said, I’ve put together an advent calendar of sorts of books that can help us process feelings, thoughts, or just enjoy an escape in a book. Some are holiday based, most are not. There are 24 books I will share with a breakdown on how it can help us tell more stories. These will be posted daily over on www.christilisa.com. Since y’all signed up to receive my words in your inbox, you get a sneak peek of the books for each week. I may even post one or two over here.
Here are the books for December 1st-December 4th.
December 1st: African American Christmas Stories
December 2nd: Black Food
December 3rd: A Literary Holiday Cookbook
December 4th: A Woman’s Place
For the rest of December, y’all will get a post on Sundays with a recipe on Fridays.
Thank y’all for rocking with ya girl. Here’s to 2022 and making dreams come true.
Xoxo~Christilisa
