It's the New Year. Yay?
I've been trying to figure out how to start this post but nothing seems right. How fitting for the new year, huh? Everything sounds good but nothing fits.
This year is already extra. Is it mercury retrograde or is it God's plan? Either way, I don't like it.
God has too many of us labeled as his strongest soldiers but we are in fact, not.
The one thing I can say is that the work put in last year is going to pay dividends this year.
For me, I focused on writing and reading in 2022. Did anything fun and exciting happen in that realm for me? No, not yet but the foundation is laid.
Now that it's 2023, I'm continuing the focus on writing and reading. Here is a list of books I read last year that I will review in 2023:
No One Left to Come Looking For You
Killing Me
Mastering the Art of French Murder
An A-to-Z of Pasta
Mind Over Batter
More stories, books, recipes, and reviews are to come.
There will be a few recipes that will be for subscribers only. They are recipes from restaurants, bakeries, authors, etc.
When you subscribe, you are helping someone realize a dream. You are inspiring others to do the damn thing and getting some great recipes/insights.
Subscriber posts will start in February so get in where you fit in.
As always thanks, for rocking with ya girl.
Until next time,

Extra! Extra!
I started watching TV again and found these three shows got me intrigued. Check them out and let me know what you think:
Cook at All Costs on Netflix
Will Trent on Hulu. (This is based on a book series so it was an automatic yes for me, my guy.)
Criminal Minds: Evolution on Paramount+
