Cooking with the Family

I’ve been thrown off my schedule all week due to, my boo, Chad, being laid up for the past three days. I usually post on Thursday but the days got away from me with my routine being upended. In the end, it was a good thing because we spent time together, not only around the house taking pictures (the kiddo has fallen in love with taking pictures all of a sudden. He is taking pictures of himself, us, and his cars/monster trucks.), and cooking in the kitchen together.

Chad’s parents just renovated their kitchen and we finally got to enjoy cooking in it yesterday.

It’s not the first time the kiddo has helped in the kitchen but this is the first time he has been excited to help.

Did he eat any? Absolutely not. We are still working on feeding with him. He’s picky and won’t try new things. We’re waiting to start at a feeding clinic but in the mean time inbetween time, having him help in the kitchen has him touching, smelling, and seeing new food.

It’s amazing to see a child’s face light up when they learn and enjoy something new. The kiddo even asked to make them again today.
